			<description><![CDATA[<p>Southeast Louisiana Veterans Health Care System (SLVHCS) will reopen the following clinics Friday for regular operating hours:<br />
•&#160;Baton Rouge VA Outpatient Clinic<br />
•&#160;Houma VA Outpatient Clinic<br />
•&#160;New Orleans VA Outpatient Clinic<br />
•&#160;Slidell VA Outpatient Clinic</p>
<p>At this time, the following community-based outpatient clinic will remain closed until Tuesday:<br />
•&#160;Bogalusa VA Outpatient Clinic<br />
•&#160;Franklin VA Outpatient Clinic<br />
•&#160;Hammond VA Outpatient Clinic<br />
•&#160;Mandeville Dental Clinic<br />
•&#160;Metairie Dental Clinic<br />
•&#160;Mental Health Outpatient Clinic (3500, 3434 &amp; 3426 Canal Street, New Orleans; mental health services will be located at 1601 Perdido Street)<br />
•&#160;St. John VA Outpatient Clinic</p>
<p>Patients should keep records of any missed appointments for follow-up visits, lab work and specialty care services. Once the clinics reopen and a patient return to the area, they should reschedule any missed appointments by calling 1-800-935-8387.</p>

			<description><![CDATA[<p>The St. John VA Outpatient Clinic will remain closed on Friday. It will reopen on Tuesday for regularly scheduled appointments.&#160; At this time all other clinic will be open on Friday. These clinics include:</p>

• Mental Health Outpatient Clinic<br />
• New Orleans VA Outpatient Clinic<br />

<p>The New Orleans Urgent Care clinic at 1601 Perdido Street, annex building, will be open Tuesday through Thursday from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. for non-emergent needs. The Baton Rouge north clinic at 7968 Essen Park Avenue will be open Tuesday through Thursday from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. for walk-ins only. All regular appointments are cancelled. This staff will be on hand to handle non-emergent medical needs of Veterans during these closings. For emergencies, Veterans are urged to dial 911.</p>
