Vaccine for eligible SE Louisiana Veterans

Southeast Louisiana Veterans in eligible patient groups can receive a vaccine at VA by making an appointment or visiting a walk-in clinic, provided they already receive care at VA or are eligible to receive care at VA.
For questions about eligibility or interest in a vaccine, contact VA at 1-800-935-8387 extension 72819 Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. and weekends from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Eligible Veterans can receive a vaccine at the following times and locations:

Regular walk-in hours
New Orleans Veterans Medical Center, 2400 Canal Street. Walk-ins from 7 a.m. until 2 p.m. on weekdays and 7 a.m. to noon on weekends. Other times are available by appointment.

In addition to eligible Veterans, family caregivers who are enrolled in VA’s Program of Comprehensive Assistance for Family Caregivers are eligible for vaccination. Vaccinating caregivers helps VA support and protect Veterans.
