Getting your flu shot this season is more important than ever. It’s also easier than ever, with a drive-up flu shot event for Veterans. No appointment is necessary. The details are as follos:

  •  Franklin Avenue Baptist Church, 8282 I-10 Service Rd in New Orleans - November 9, 2020 from 8 a.m. to noon.

In addition to the drive up service, you can walk in for a flu shot at the medical center or any of our community-based outpatient clinics Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., or get vaccinated during any appointment. You can also get a free flu vaccination from retail pharmacies or urgent care centers within VA's partner network. Find a location near you by going to https://www.va.gov/find-locations and selecting "Community Pharmacies."

If you have questions about flu vaccination or need to enroll in the Southeast Louisiana Veterans Health Care System, call 1-800-935-8387 or go to www.va.gov/health-care/apply.
